SFJAZZ Center at Fell and Franklin Streets

Scheduled to open in January 2013, the future home of SFJAZZ is taking shape
at Fell and Franklin Streets in San Francisco’s Civic Center neighborhood.
Designed by award-winning architect Mark Cavagnero, The SFJAZZ Center
will be built specifically for jazz music and audiences alike. It will be the
first concert hall of its type in the western United States: a freestanding
performance venue with flexible seating and staging for artists of every stature.
I have been photographing the progress and posting the images here:

San Francisco & Los Angeles Wallpaper* City Guides

Last spring I was on assignment for Wallpaper* to update the content for the LA and SF guides. These hip & handy little books cover the arts, architecture, hotels, shops and eateries in an informal sophisticated manner all for under $10. Couple of months from now I'll do a 3rd round of new images for the SF 2013 edition. Should be interesting to see what's on the list this time.

The Morphosis designed Federal Building at the corner of 7th & Mission in SF.  Early morning shoot from the hotel roof-top across the street.
Playa restaurant on Melrose in LA.
This beautiful space is the main dining room at Quince restaurant in San Francisco's Jackson Sq. neighborhood.
