Danish National Maritime Museum by BIG Architects

Here's a series of photographs I made last fall in the Danish National Maritime Museum, Elsinore DK. The exhibit spaces are underground, adjacent to one of the dry docks of the former Helsingør Skibsværft (Elsinore ship yard).
This project by Bjarke Ingels Group BIG was recently named of of 5 finalist for the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture or Mies van der Rohe Award which is a prize given biennially by the European Union and the Fundació Mies van der Rohe, Barcelona,[1] 'to acknowledge and reward quality architectural production in Europe. Congratulations!
