I'll be teaching an exciting workshop this summer through The Imageflow in Mill Valley. It'll include a whole day of shooting at the historical former Navy Shipyard on Mare Island, Vallejo where we'll be able to go "behind the scenes".

$300 Aug. 2nd 6:30-9, Aug. 4th All Day Shoot, Aug. 9th 6:30-9
This
workshop is structured around 2 classroom sessions with a day-long
Saturday location shoot on Mare Island / Vallejo in between. In the
initial meeting, there will be a brief presentation on the subject, as
well as a discussion on the important practicioners and their
photographic output. Shooting techniques, equipment considerations,
best practices and safety concerns will also be addressed. On Saturday,
the class will meet at dawn on historic Mare Island to spend the day
shooting along the waterfront and around the many structures. During
this session, there will be ample time for one-on-one instruction and
image review on student laptops/tablets. After lunch we can continue on
Mare Island and/or explore nearby Vallejo. The subsequent classroom
session will be dedicated to reviewing 5 images per student, as well as
discussing the shooting experience and any concerns regarding editing,
post-processing, and presentation.Instructor Biography: Henrik Kam has spent the better part of the last 3 decades shooting images for a diverse list of clients and working on personal long-term projects, documenting the changing urban environment near his San Francisco neighborhood.
