I have added a new gallery on my website called CONSTRUCTION/DE-CONSTRUCTION which is intended to showcase my interest in doing extended projects for architects, builders and developers who realize the importance of an artistic interpretation of their sites. In the gallery are images from the work I did at the SFMOMA Roof-top Sculpture Garden and images from the on-going SFJAZZ Center project.

Pile Driving in Mission Bay, SF

Over the past several weeks I have photographed the pile driving and prelim. foundation work at 3rd St. by China Basin here in Mission Bay. Nibbi Brothers is the general contractor on this condo project.

The majority of these giant steel I-beams are driven more than 200' into the ground before they hit bedrock!
